X-Pack develops and produces a wide variety of packaging and components with the idea of sustainability and CO² savings in mind.
The expanded polystyrene we produce is used, for example, in the insulation of buildings. EPS is also used to ensure the cold chain of many pharmaceutical products.
Among other things, expanded polypropylene is used as reusable packaging in the automotive supply chain. EPP is also a substitute for steel in the automotive industry and significantly reduces fuel consumption without compromising on the strength or safety of vehicles.
It is for the same reasons (durability and CO² savings) that we recently decided to equip our fleet of company vehicles with a plug-in hybrid car.
